At Opportunity Healthcare Consulting, we don’t just give recommendations, we roll up our sleeves and help rural organizations get things done.
Our success stories below reflect work led by founder Emily Roberts, both through Opportunity Healthcare Consulting and in prior professional engagements.

Stabilizing Rural Ambulance Services
A rural ambulance service transitioned from a volunteer-based model to paid staffing, improving reliable coverage and supporting long-term sustainability. The work included staffing strategy, operational planning, financial restructuring, and implementation.
Building Morrow Discovery Center
Morrow Discovery Center moved from concept to launch in under nine months, establishing a nonprofit children’s museum for a rural Oregon community and raising more than $90,000. The work included nonprofit formation, founding board development, fundraising, operational planning, and partnerships across healthcare, education, and civic organizations.

Launching a Mobile Rural Health Clinic
A fully equipped mobile clinic moved from concept to operational launch in under six months, expanding access to immediate care in a rural community. Built in a custom motor coach, the clinic includes two exam rooms, imaging capabilities, and laboratory services. The work included strategic planning, regulatory compliance, logistics, provider recruitment, and community implementation.
Leading a Rapid EHR Conversion
An Epic electronic health record implementation for a Federally Qualified Health Center moved from contract to go-live in just three months. The work included vendor coordination, workflow development, staff readiness and training, and change management.

“Emily’s leadership provided much-needed stability, integrity, and a renewed sense of purpose to a team facing uncertainty.”
